| Six Steps to Comfort and Confidence |
Step 1: Defining your goals
Dr. LaMar will meet with you to discuss your chief complaints,, objectives for treatment and your desired treatment timetable. He will also take your dental and medical history information. |
Step 2: Examination, evaluation and analysis
Dr. LaMar will do an oral examination, take digital “before” photos and order panographic x-rays, radiographs and/or other tests. This will allow him to assess the condition of your gums, teeth, roots and underlying bone structure and plan your treatment. |
Step 3: Diagnostic work-up
Dr. LaMar will produce a detailed treatment plan including all components and the sequence of steps necessary to achieve your goals. Your individual treatment plan may include a range of dental services, such as: |

- Full or partial dentures
- Crowns and/or bridgework
- Oral surgery
- Orthodontics
- Cosmetic dentistry

| Step 4: Solutions consultation |
| Dr. LaMar will meet with you to explain your individual treatment plan and the team of specialists selected for your care. He will review your “before” and “after” models/photos to confirm that the treatment plan fully addresses your objectives. He will help you evaluate options and decide the best course of treatment for your goals, your timetable and your budget. He will also explain financing options available. A detailed treatment sequence and timetable will be outlined to eliminate any confusion about the process. You can ask questions and you will leave knowing exactly how many appointments will be needed to complete your care. |
| Step 5: Treatment |
| Your treatment plan may include appointments at Elmwood Dental Restoration Center and appointments at the offices of one or more partner specialists. Regardless of where you’re being treated, Dr. LaMar will monitor your progress and be available to answer questions and help you resolve any problems that might arise. |
| Step 6: Aftercare |
| When your treatment is completed, we will show you how to care for your beautiful new smile and recommend appliances or products to help keep your teeth healthy. We will also give you a schedule for follow-up appointments |
