| Elmwood Dental Group Payment Policy |
- Full payment is expected at the time services are provided.
- If you have BlueCross/BlueShield or Met Life dental insurance and see a participating dentist: Payment for your estimated portion of the charges is expected at the time services are provided. We will bill your insurer for the balance. You will be responsible for the unpaid balance if your dental plan pays less than the estimated coverage. Elmwood Dental Group does not guarantee insurance estimate coverage and assumes no responsibility for denials of coverage by any dental plan.
- For all other types of dental insurance, or if you see a non-participating dentist: You will pay in full at the time services are provided. As a courtesy to you, we will submit claims to your dental plan carrier and ask them to reimburse you directly. If your carrier reimburses Elmwood Dental Group in error, we will immediately issue a reimbursement check to you.

- For your convenience, we can keep your Visa, MasterCard or Discover number on file and automatically charge your balance due against your credit card at the completion of your office visit.
- We also accept cash, personal checks and money orders.
- We’re happy to announce a convenient new payment option for our patients – the CareCredit Card. With a CareCredit Card account, you can pay for ongoing treatment for all family members without reapplying, and save your other credit cards for household or other expenses. - We will gladly provide a written estimate for routine procedures upon request.
